THE LANGESUNDSFJORD

Many of the here found minerals are relatively rare on our planet, and occur preferably in special types of mineral-occurrences. Because of the exotic and unusual nature of the mineral associations found in these occurrences a special kind of mineral-collecter evolved with a common interest.

On the Internet some of these collectors took the initiative to form a kind of forum/circle of websites dedicated to these occurrences and their minerals. The NAGS -the association of norwegian mineral collectors supports this initiative by means of a small picture-show with pictures made by Frode Andersen, wellknown in Norway as photographer and collector of Langesundsfjord minerals.
